Ombudsstelle
As a passenger on public transport in the Canton of Zurich, you have the option of writing to the Canton of Zurich's ombudsstelle. The ombudsstelle mediates between the passenger and transport companies if they are unable to reach agreement.
The ombudsman, Jürg Trachsel, is an independent mediator who is elected by the canton council. He helps anyone who contacts him providing the problem is with a canton authority or administrative agency. He reviews the matter brought to him, intervenes in the case of conflicts and supports those involved in finding a fair solution.
