SwissPass

One card for everything: the SwissPass is the chip card for public transport in Switzerland. In addition to public transport passes, other mobility and leisure services can also be loaded on the chip card.

Within the ZVV network, the following travelcards are available on the SwissPass:

• Personal NetworkPasses (annual and monthly travelcards, 9 O'Clock Pass and BonusPass)
• Personal Z-Pass (annual and monthly travelcards)
• NEW: ZVV Single tickets, 24h-tickets, 9 O'Clock day pass and Zone upgrades
• NEW: Z-Pass Single tickets and day tickets

Sales channels

Travelcards can be purchased or renewed through all sales channels. The easiest and fastest way is directly through the ZVV app or the ZVV ticket shop. With the app you have the advantage of being able to show your travelcard directly in the app with ‘SwissPass Mobile’ and that your travelcard will automatically be taken into account when purchasing zone upgrades. Loading individual tickets and day tickets onto the SwissPass is possible via the ZVV app and the ZVV ticket shop. These channels also offer the option of loading a ticket onto the SwissPass of a third person (e.g. child or elderly person).

For people who are not digitally savvy, the ZVV also offers the option of ordering the ticket by telephone from ZVV-Contact and having it loaded directly onto the SwissPass. With just one call - from a cell phone or landline - the ticket is immediately available on the SwissPass and the person can start their journey straight away. Payment is made on account.

Other offerings

Until further notice, the following articles are not yet available on the SwissPass:

• Transferable yearly and monthly travelcards
• Multiple tickets 
• Tickets for direct national traffic
• Other special products

Transferable monthly travelcards can be issued on paper at ZVV and SBB ticket machines.
