Half Fare Travelcard PLUS
With the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS, you have credit that you can use to buy public transport tickets for a year. You will benefit from a bonus
of up to CHF 900 and a money-back guarantee if you don’t use up all the credit. From October 2024, you will also be able to purchase the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS conveniently via the ZVV app or from the ZVV ticket shop.
With the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS, it’s a win-win situation: if you travel less than you have paid in, you will get the remaining amount back. Travel more, and you’ll benefit from the free bonus and travel for free. The higher the package price you choose, the bigger the bonus – and the more often you travel, the more you can save.

Once you have used up the amount you have deposited, adults will benefit from a bonus of up to CHF 900, and children and young people will benefit from a bonus of up to CHF 1425.
Money-back guarantee
At the end of the one-year term, any remaining balance will be refunded to you up to the amount you paid in. The bonus will expire.

And you’ll also benefit from the money-back guarantee: if you don’t make full use of the deposit you have paid in within one year, the remaining amount will be reimbursed to you. Conditions
- The contract for the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS will be renewed automatically every year unless cancelled. Exceptions: Half Fare Travelcard PLUS contracts with minors, limited to one year.
- The Half Fare Travelcard PLUS is available for adults from their 25th birthday.
- The Half Fare Travelcard PLUS Youth ticket is available to children and young people from their 6th birthday up to two days before their 25th birthday.
- The Half Fare Travelcard PLUS is personal and non-transferable. Buying tickets for other people is not permitted.
- The Half Fare Travelcard is not part of the Half Fare PLUS Travelcard.

- The Children’s Co-Travelcard
- International tickets and reservations including regions on either side of the border
How to get your Half Fare Travelcard PLUS
Log into the ZVV app or ZVV ticket shop with your SwissPass login. You can conclude a contract there for your Half Fare Travelcard PLUS in just a few steps and then use it to buy tickets for a year and benefit from the corresponding bonus.
How it works:
- Choose the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS package that you want (1000, 2000 or 3000 for adults or children/young people).
- Conclude your Half Fare Travelcard PLUS contract.
- Pay in the corresponding amount.
- Activate the full credit balance as a means of payment that you can then use it to purchase tickets for yourself. When your deposit has been used up, the bonus will be activated automatically.
