Personalised ZVV departure boards: Terms and conditions of use
Thank you for your interest in a personalised ZVV departure board. In order to provide you, your guests and your employees with a high quality service, the following terms and conditions of use apply.
1 Applicability
The contractual relationship between the user and the ZVV is governed by these Terms and Conditions of Use. The current Privacy Policy of the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV) is an integral part of these T&Cs.
2 Functionality and benefits
2.1 Hardware and operation
The ZVV provides users with a free display of real-time data showing the current departure times of nearby stops. This can be displayed on a suitable output device.
2.2 Service level
The ZVV ensures that the provision of the departure board is stable and reliable. There is no entitlement to a specific availability of the service.
2.3 Support
The ZVV provides basic support via email. Users are also informed about upcoming updates, planned downtimes and upgrades. However, for technical reasons, this support can only be offered to users who have generated the URLs for their personalised ZVV departure board via the online form on the ZVV website (i.e. who have not manipulated or obtained the URL in any other way).
Users are responsible for updating their contact details. Changes to contact details can be reported using the support address. The ZVV does not offer IT support.
3 Usage
3.1 Output devices
Users are responsible for obtaining, installing and operating output devices, including the Internet connection. The following minimum requirements apply:
- Internet browser: A current (not older than two years) version of a browser (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Safari)
- Internet connection: Fixed network connection with at least 10 mbps or a good 4G mobile connection
3.2 Monitor location
The environment in which a personalised ZVV departure board is displayed must not violate any legal regulations, official requirements or court orders.
3.3 Non-commercial use
The personalised ZVV departure board may only be used for non-commercial information purposes. Reproduction (in whole or in part), transmission (electronically or by other means), modification, linking or use of the timetable information for commercial purposes is prohibited.
3.4 Appearance of the websites
The ZVV makes the personalised ZVV departure boards available as websites. These websites must be displayed unchanged and complete (including layout, colours, fonts, ZVV logo, etc.).
The personalised ZVV departure board must not be covered by other graphic elements.
3.5 Legally compliant use
Users are obliged to use the personalised ZVV departure board as intended and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

5 Termination of use
If a personalised ZVV departure board assigned to a user is not used for more than six months, the corresponding user data will be deleted. The right to support pursuant to Clause 2.3 expires after this period.
The ZVV is also entitled to terminate the use of the departure boards at any time and for any reason by giving six months' written notice.
The ZVV reserves the right to block individual users and to take legal action in the event of non-compliance with one or more of these conditions of use.
